From Maine’s Yankee Nuclear Power Plant to California’s San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, our nuclear energy plants are all situated next to large bodies of water. Glaciers are melting, water levels are rising. Water corrodes metal, and our waste is stored in thin-walled steel containers. If only Einstein could have seen climate change coming!
